Q: What material is used for a Big-showoffs, and will it damage my wall

A: We use Photo-Tex. It’s a new, patented, adhesive media fabric paper that can be easily placed anywhere and then removed and reused hundreds of times. It’s Tough! Below are some of the unique features of this product:

• The adhesive will not leave a sticky residue against 99% of all surfaces.  Before printing it’s been put it in the washer and dryer and placed back on the wall.  No problem sticking - it’s unbelievable!
• It can be illuminated with a backlight, be wrapped around wall corners, ceilings and poles, and just about flat surface you can think of.
• You can place your Big Showoffs indoors or outdoors in any weather condition. 
• It’s very difficult to tear.
• It’s been tested on an airplane at speeds up to 500mph and did not come off!
• You can wad up your Big-Showoffs and then place it back on the wall with no evidence of creasing. If you’ve got a lot of free time on your hands, try it yourself!

Q:  Is photo editing is included?

A: We enlarge your photo (at no charge) per the ordered package size, and then determine whether the quality will be sufficient for the specific size BSO ordered; we’ll then notify you with the results. If you need photo editing beyond the re-sizing and cropping, we can discuss options to help you with the editing of your photos.  During the checkout process, please let us know in the “special instructions” section if you need any special photo editing. It will speed up the process for you.

Q:  What image file formats will you accept?

A: We can accept both raster (typical photo) and vector files (logos, artwork). Most all cameras automatically produce a jpeg file. The following extensions are accepted: 

• .jpg, .tiff, .gif, .bmp, .psd, .eps, .ai, .pdf, .png, .svg, .cpt, .psp, .cdr          

Q:  How large does my image need to be?

A: We’ll start off by saying the larger the image (more megapixels) the better. The size of the Big-Showoff you choose will be the major factor on the recommended photo size requirement.  The bigger the photo size, the better the quality as it’s enlarged for our bigger packages. We have attached a chart to help you choose your photos:  

Make sure you don't confuse MP MegaPixels with MegaBytes MB. Ultimately, a photo of 10 Megapixels or above would give the best results on any Big-Showoff, however we do see incredible images with 5 Megapixel photos. Please keep in mind that if a photo is 10 megapixels, but the subject of your picture takes up very little of the shot, the image quality may suffer when enlarged. It’s best when taking a photo, to insure the subject takes up as much of the photo as possible. Please don’t let the camera tech talk scare you. Send us your photos and we’ll be happy to look them over for you. 

Q:  What if my picture just isn’t big enough for a good enlargement?

A: If you’re questioning your picture quality, please e-mail us the photo without purchasing. We’ll review it for you, and chances are we can probably work through it.  We have special photo enlargement software that does a good job at reducing pixilation.  While it will never be as good as an extremely high resolution original, we can usually make it look good enough to make it a Big-Showoff. That’s something we can talk about once we’ve reviewed your photo. 

Q:  Will you make a Big-Showoff of any image I send you?

A: Yes, unless it’s illegal. 

Q:  Will my Big-Showoff look exactly like my photo?

A: Your Big-Showoff should match your photo pretty closely.  It’s virtually impossible match exactly (without spending a whole bunch of money).  If you printed your picture on a hundred different printers, you would probably get a hundred different variations in tones, etc.  The same goes for monitors.

Q:  Can I order more than one package with the same image?

A: Yes, just specify the quantity during the checkout process.

Q: How do I know that you’ll place my image as I envision it?

A: During the checkout process you’ll be required to specify whether the photo is to be placed landscaped or portrait, cropped or left as-is. You’ll also have the option to provide any special instructions; that’s where you can give us the specifics about how we’re to create your Big-Showoff.  Prior to printing, we’ll send you a proof for your approval, therefore a quick response will be needed to process your order in a timely manner. Failure to do so could result in the delaying of your order being processed.

Q:  What are your payment options?

A: Big-Showoffs accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, e-checks via PayPal, or payments through your PayPal account.

Q:  Is the payment process secure?

A: Without a doubt.  We are certified by BuySAFE. They are like an online shoppers’ guardian angel. A: Yes, if you’ve created an account with us, you can check on the status of your order at any time.  You’ll automatically receive an e-mail notifying you that your order has been processed, and then again when your order has been shipped, regardless of having created an account with us.

Q:  When can I expect my order and how is it shipped?

A: We’ll print your Big-Showoff within 1-3 days, and ship via the United States Postal Service priority mail. Transit times will vary, but you should receive your order within 5-10 business days. You may get it sooner, but we don’t want to disappoint you. We’d rather surprise you if possible.  

Q: Can I have my order shipped to a P.O. Box?

A: Sorry, but no we can’t. Your order must be shipped to a physical street address.

Q:  Can I expedite my order?

A: Yes, the majority of the time required in processing an order lies mostly in the shipping times. We offer a wide variety of shipping options in our checkout process and the choice for shipping methods is all yours. In the event that you need to rush an order, please contact us so we can expedite your order as quickly as possible.

Q: Do I have to pay taxes on my order?

A: Only if the product is being shipped to an address in Alabama.

A: Absolutely. Please contact us prior to placing an order, and we’ll quickly provide you a quote.

Q: What is your return policy?

A: We have a 30 day return policy if your Big-Showoff is substantially different than what you approved, or there is a defect in the printing or material.  While this will be rare, it can happen. If it does, please contact us as soon as possible, and we’ll issue you an RMA to return the product.  We’ll then expedite your corrected Big-Showoffs.
